The new Zelda for Wii won’t be coming out any time soon, but here is the concept art shown by Shigeru Miyamoto at the E3 conference.
I got it from this link.

Well I realize any news on this site will be outdated compared to others, but just in case I’ll post some cool trailers that I find on YouTube from the E3 Conference this morning. Here’s the new Metroid!! It comes out in 2010. Credit for the video goes to Gametrailers.
I’ll post more quality E3 stuff later once I find them!

1) Fix the online system! PS3 has shown you can make an interactive online environment for free. Nintendo seems to think the friend code system will protect little kids, but they’ve forgotten those kids use the internet unprotected anyway, so what’s the difference?
2) Deeper games are needed. Where are all the RPG games? Square should be on good terms with Nintendo by now. Just because this is the Wii, doesn’t mean we should be stuck with an inferior Final Fantasy spinoff like that Chocobo Dungeon game.
3) Make it so the classic controller can plug into the Gamecube ports on top of the Wii. This is insane, having to connect the classic controller to the remote in order to use it. They can easily make the thing so it matches the Gamecube ports, while still keeping the same classic controller design.
4) Let us buy Wii points in smaller increments. It doesn’t seem to matter if a game on WiiWare is 500 points because…no matter what I’ll have to spend at a minimum $10.00 for 1000 points! That’s not how things work in a retail store.
5) Make it so people can attach an external hard drive to the USB port. This would solve EVERYONE’S storage solution problem. Those that don’t need a hard drive, well they are good then, they don’t need to buy it.
That’s it for now. Maybe I’ll think of more ways the Wii can improve later on.

If you like browsing the web on your Wii, YouTube is now offering a dedicated channel for Wii users. I have never tried this myself, because I refuse to pay $5 for the Opera browser, but some people might find it intersting.
Personally though, when I turn on my Wii, I do it to play something, and I leave my laptop on so that I can browse the internet and play video games at the same time. It doesn’t seem like a web browser for a console is really needed. But again, maybe some people will find this interesting!

Publisher: Sega
Genre: RPG
Wii Points: 800
Rating: Recommended
Games from the age of 16-bit RPGs will always have their places in our hearts. The creative storylines, bulky and lenghty games, the magic, the fighting, the moves…..wow….ok ill stop daydreaming for now.
Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium has all of those qualities. For 800 wii points you can download yourself a nifty 30+ hours of classic RPG fun. You start off in a futuristic world, in control of Alys and Chaz, professional hunter extroadinaires, and are able to add allies as the game progresses. Cut scenes which at the time were graphic marvels and still enjoyable today tell the story line.
It seems the games graphics have been slightly enhanced. The backgrounds/environments are a pretty thing to look at when your kicking RPG butt and the action/battle sequeces run smoothly.

The gameplay is standard RPG menu clicking and spell/item/action choosing though Macros add quite the twist. Macros are preset actions that you have set. Lets say for example that you want certain guys to attack and you want to boost up your powers before that, if you have the idea of what you want to do , the Macro option allows you to preset it and is a time saver for battles because it saves you from having to go through menus and choose your actions. Its great for experimenting with attacks and the order of them.
Definately a very very good RPG adventure and i highly reccomend that you put down those 800 points for this game. You wont regret the hours that come from it.
