Two Tribes just shot a mail at us to let us know that the cute little feathered chick from Toki Tori has been spotted on the Euro 2008 Championship! Check out the Toki Tori website to find some cool wallpapers and even the Toki Tori soundtrack is up there.
Here’s a nice videoreview of Toki Tori from Dutch gamedeveloper Two Tribes for Nintendo’s WiiWare service. He goes through it pretty fast, but his explanation about the game is really good.
GamesCathedral recently interviewed Martijn Reuvers, managing director at Two Tribes. They said that they would certainly like to see another Toki Tori game with more new weapon items, level creation, sharing and more. Today Two Tribes, a Dutch game developer, has released its first Nintendo WiiWare-game. Toki Tori is still the same cute little yellow chick from the Game Boy Color-game. It looks like a platform game, but it’s actually a puzzle game by heart. You can read our Toki Tori review here.
Today is WiiWare-day for American Wii-gamers! Ubisoft has released its WiiWare-title Protöthea, which is a top-down scrolling shooter with free movement that gives you complete control of a last-generation spaceship. Destroy the asteroid called Maqno 01 and finish with the plans of The Core! The second game is Toki Tori from Two Tribes, a puzzle/platform game packed with more than 70 colorful levels and items offering dozens of hours of puzzle play time. Both titles cost 1,000 Wii Points.
In Toki Tori, one of the first games for Nintendo’s WiiWare, you control a young chick called “Toki Tori” who wants nothing more in life then to gather eggs. First things first, this isn’t the first game featuring the yellow fellow. His first appearance was in Toki Tori for the Game Boy Color and there was also a version for certain Smartphones. Dutch developer Two Tribes is working on its first WiiWare-title Toki Tori, a puzzle-platformer with a cute yellow bird as the main character in this adventure. Toki Tori was originally released for the Game Boy Color back in 2001 and gets some new visuals and off course new controls for this WiiWare-instalment.
