Nintendo decides Wii Points price of WiiWare-games
April 30th, 2008 by Billy Cutter
In an IGN interview, Andy Kniaz working on Target Toss Pro: Bags said that Nintendo sets all pricing for WiiWare based on the game and its contents. Developers are actually free to decide their pricepoint, but Nintendo can still decide to change something if they think that they should change their Wii Points price.
IGN: Finally, how much will Bags cost on WiiWare?
‘Andy Kniaz: I can say based on discussions we have had with Nintendo, that Bags will be competitively and aggressively priced. Our pay to play product usually costs about a $1 each time you play, so we believe that players will be happy with what we come up with.’
