Since today, all Wii-users with an internet connection can download the WiiWare Channel for free! Just go to your Wii Shop Channel and start downloading the WiiWare Channel to get started. The Wii’s WiiWare Channel launched in the PAL areas with six games:

* Dr. Mario & Germ Buster (Nintendo)
* Final Fantasy: My Life As A King (Square Enix)
* LostWinds (Frontier)
* Star Soldier R (Hudson)
* Toki Tori (Two Tribes)
* TV Show King (Gameloft)

Today Nintendo dropped a load of fresh WiiWare-games into the WiiWare Channel of the Wii. First up is Critter Round-Up, a game that costs 1000 Wii Points and is loaded with over 50 challenging levels including the icy Arctic and exotic locations. But game of the week is definitely Star Soldier R from Hudson. This fantasy violence game costs 800 Wii Points and is filled with powerful enemies that need to be eliminated.
