This week no Virtual Console-releases for European gamers, but Nintendo added two new WiiWare-titles to the Wii’s Shop Channel. First game is Pop, the 700 Wii Points title in which you have to pop airbubbles, and the second game is My Pokémon Ranch, a 1000 Wii Points game in which you visit and make pictures of Pokémon.

Defend Your Castle is still selling like hot cupcakes, while other titles like LostWinds that get more gamer comments are ranked lower in the top 10 most downloaded WiiWare-games. Dr. Mario Online Rx doesn’t score bad, Family Table Tennis ended up on number ten in its first week.

Get those Wii Points cards ready, because since today every US-gamer with an internet connection can download the WiiWare Channel from the Wii Shop Channel. Nintendo announced the official launch line-up today and added the first six games to their catalogue. Also view the video made by a gamer showing you how the WiiWare Channel looks like.

We have put together some sort of WiiWare launch line-up. We aren’t sure if this will be the line-up when the WiiWare Channel hits US Wii-systems, but it should be something like that. Traditionally Nintendo always adds a few Virtual Console-games to the Wii’s Shop Channel, but today there aren’t any new VC-games planned because of the launch of the new WiiWare Channel.
