More than 10 years after it hit arcades, the originl Metal Slug continues to impress.  the co-op run-and-gun action is excellent, and the detailed animation still looks fantastic.  Granted, there’s little reason to download this version if you already own Metal Slug Anthology on a wii disc, but it does sport a few improvements, including classic controller support and a more balanced difficulty leval.  This is a great introduction to a great series.
