Igarashi still looking at WiiWare

Well, hopefully we’ll get away from the fighters, and get back into the 2D games. Personally, I don’t care if they come out on WiiWare as long as they’re good games.

Castlevania might head to WiiWare

I think that development for 2D in regards to the or any other system is very difficult to do right now, but there are other avenues we can use to explore the 2D progression of such as WiiWare or downloadable content and whatnot. So no, I don’t think it’s really a dead thing.

Thanks to WiiWare 2D gets a second life, even in times of high definition 3D-games with super high quality graphics. Looks like we can expect some vampire hunting action on WiiWare soon!
